Face tightening aftershave

What is an aftershave that gives your face that tight skin feeling? Also what is the ingredient that causes that?

Alum or alcohol. PAA has alum I believe.

IMO, it's the alcohol. I use only Captain's Choice, as it has witch hazel and glycerin, in addition to alcohol. Pure ingredients for the scents, too. Tightens, moisturizes, and smells great, what else should I expect?

Superior 70 Bay Rum is pretty good for tightening. Also, seems to have more alcohol content than all my other splashes.

When I want to tighten my face, I finish my shave with an alum block, let it dry, then rinse it off and apply aftershave. Alum block is the best thing I have found for tightening up the skin.

Alum is the only thing that tightens pours BETTER than anything else on the market made for shaving.
