Antica Barbieria Colla Cream

I just cracked open my first tub of Antica Barbieria Colla Cream. It was harder than most of my soaps. Is that normal?

I loaded it like a soap and my first shave was good. I am just curious if it is supposed to be that consistency.

i only have the shave soap, from the brick.
but i can imagine that with storage, time and temperature, that the cream could dry out.
if it shaves good, i wouldn't fret.
if you want, you could add some water and let it settle in.

The "cream" is a pretty solid croap--maybe a bit stiffer than Cella.

First use was great.

After three shaves, I am really enjoying ABC. It does not produce a big lather, but the performance is outstanding. Very slick. I highly recommend it.

The scent is a sweet almond, which I enjoyed, but may not be for everyone.

As noted, the cream is almost too hard to call a croap. It makes me want to check out the soap. If the cream is this hard, what is the soap like?

I would sample the soap first IMO. I think you will prefer the cream. Have you tried taking a pea size amount and placing in your bowl then whipping it up for a lather? I get better results that way. Just my 2 cents worth.

This is a top performer. I after finishing my container will probably purchase another. Smell, Slick and performance including after shave feel is great.
