early birthday gift

hello my inky brethren, normally i dont like bringing attention to my birthday, but i thought i would share that i decided to get myself an early non-shaving related gift this year. i went to my go-to pen supply shop; goulet pens. i purchased a black ebonite noodlers neponset, noodlers blue ink, and a rhodia notebook. noodlers pens has somewhat mixed reviews but i have had good luck and couldnt resist a unique pen. goulet is also running a special for the neponsets, buy a pen and get a free bottle of 3oz ink of your choice. write on my friends.

and you can always change out the "flex" nibs for a Goulet branded #6 nib. I did that with my Konrad.
