Steaming a Knot out

Well I have taken a few knots out in the past and had no problems
I saw a video on how to steam a knot out so I figured I would give it a shot
Everything was going great and then I got a phone call so I set the timer and did not worry
about it...............Guess what I did not hear,you guessed it the timer OOOOOOOOOOOOOOh MY

There was no Silence when My Wife saw her pan with melted plastic in the bottom and in the steamer basket

But the knot is still in the handle

Oh Wow, yeah I am sure was less than amused with that sight for sure. Mine would have likely clobbered me with the Pot LMAO

The normal part of me says that thing is trashed. The weird shaving brush guy part of me thinks.......... you know that could still work.

I was thinking the same thing! Heat up the bottom, press it against a flat/cold piece of metal and the standing base will be formed, as long as there are no sharp ends to hold if by, call her a Frankenbrush and use it! Oh wait, the knot still has to come out!
