2 new variables in my shave today but they worked well. The Treet "New Steel" blade gave a smooth comfortable shave with no drama or other problems. The Maggard Synthetic is a lather monster and provided a smooth creamy lather that, of course, helped with a fine shave. Will use the Maggard brush the rest of the week to get more familiar with it. Will shave with the Treet blade but probably will switch razors to see how it works in various razors. But, the bottom line for today is a DFS shave that I'm very happy with and I'm ready to go. Think it's library day too. Now go enjoy your day folks.

I thought my best DE shave had passed, turns out I was wrong. Previously, only a GEM Clog Pruf left me this close, and so comfortably. I can't even see where the stubble normally is. This soap and after shave are new to me but my skin had never felt or looked better.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Reef Point Peerless today. 20 seconds to load the RR/Zenith Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I moved the Personna 74 to my NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Submariner.

I think it is evident that it is the original knot, and I am going back and forth about giving it a new.
Normally when I restore, I try to keep it as close to the original as possible, but I think it would be quite lovely with a 2-band

Awesome shave! Got BBS! This blade was tuggy on it's 6th shave on the against the grain pass. So only getting 5 shaves which is a good deal since I shave every 2 days. Got no irritation aside from getting a weeper on the left side of my neck. I am loving my Lord l6 lately. It's a awesome razor considering I payed 12 bucks for it nearly 2 years ago. Everything worked flawlessly and I smell good! Have a good day!

Thanks Dave! And Soren, I'd say synthetic, but I've come to love them more than anything else. Always very cool though if an original knot is decent!
