I got moves like Jagger
Postage in Canada runs just under $10 to ship a simple razor, so $15+ should be expected for anything with any weight at all.

Passarounds are great, but the problem is, I don't want to fork down ~$2 per shave for the chance to try one brand of soap. For that kind of money, I would rather just buy soap samples. (Unless it was a rare or expensive soap.)

Depends on the maker. Some I wouldn't give a plugged nickel to ship.

I'm in the PannaCrema passaround (only a couple of soaps from PCN) and I don't mind the cost of the shipping ($15+ with $2 for insurance). From all indications, this is world class soap and dfoulk has kept them in their original containers (glass crocks/tubs). This means that the packaging needs to be very rugged to protect them.

To shave with the king's soap for a week, yes, I'd pay $15+.
