changing feather blades

tired of stopping so i've decided to get a feather ss. i was curious how often you need to replace the blade. do you use a fresh blade every time or can you get 2 or 3 shaves out of a blade? thanks for any advice

You should get far more than 2-3 shaves. Everyone is different but I'd say I average 12-14 shaves per blade.

feather straight blades are amazing!
i'm also averaging 8-10 shaves per blade.

I usually get 13-15 shave out of a blade.

+1. They do mellow a little after the first few but in a nice way. These are my favorite blades in any format

I have used a Feather pro blade for more than 40 three-pass shaves, stropping on a towel after each shave.

I change my Feather DE blades after 2 shaves ... same as every other brand.
If I used straight-disposables, it would be no different.

I see no reason to stretch the longevity of a product that's designed to be disposable.
You can always get more blades when you need them, and they are certainly cheap enough.
