Circa 1976 William Shaving Soap

Picked this up at a flea market yesterday for $1.00. I'm assuming it's circa 1976 because the "Special Offer" is for an American Bicentennial Shaving Mug.

Also found 4 vintage Gillette razors. A 1972 (S4) Black Handle Super Speed, 1960 (F2) Flare Tip Super Speed, and the 1964 (I1) Lady Gillette and one that I'm still working on identifying. Posted it in the Double Edge Razor sub forum.

All total including an Italian Sausage with Onions and Peppers and a bottle of water I spent $20. I think that was a pretty good find.

Hopefully the sausage sandwich wasn't fresh from the time machine, as well.

Supercongrats.

Note the price of the WMS: 29 cents! :w00t:

Yeah, and he paid $1..... he way overpaid!

You are correct that that box is from 1976. There are similar boxes that say "Special Offer: Save $3.00", and those were made in 1975, leading up to the Bicentennial.

I think that first razor is a Wade & Butcher....I could be wrong, but I just picked one up at M antique store. If it is, it's somewhat rare and takes special blades.
