The only Turkish bath soap I can remember using is Haci Sakir , and I've tried at least 4 of the scents they have,it's a very nice soap.....Now I was lucky enough to get DURU bath soap ,from a Greek vendor in the U.S...What a surprise ,this soap smells just like Arko-Derby shave soap !...Maybe a little more like Derby ,I can detect a faint hint of citrus under the industrial laundry powder scent...Not rough at all , very mild and good lasting lather,does what it's supposed to do...I like it !

I have that stuff, and yeah, it smells like Derby shaving soap with a lemony undertone. It does work well...lathers prodigiously and is fresh in the bath, but I've found it doesn't leave any scent behind on the skin. Not a bad thing per se, but I like my soaps to do that. Others might find that a huge plus.
