Stainless vs carbon steel, which do you prefer.

I am a carbon steel guy in both razors and knives although it is far more important to me in knives.

Carbon Steel Blade

Carbon steel all the way, especially old Sheffield steel.

Personally, not a fan of the new production SS razors, and most steel razors in general, just feel a tad mechanical and uninspiring...just don't feel like they have a "soul" if that makes any sense...just my opinion and preference of course.

I don't own any stainless razors. I do have stainless and carbon knives though. Carbon blades are sharper; stainless are far easier to maintain
