Back in the 70's a guy did catchy television jingles for small bakeries across the US based on the trucker / CB fad. The same guy went on to record the song Convoy.
In Kentucky and Tennessee, the commercials were for Kerns bread, a bakery in Knoxville. The "Mama Kerns Fill 'Er Up And Keep On Truckin' Cafe" commercials were a hit and probably sold tons of bread.

Didn't know they were still available. Several of my baby teeth were pulled by those.
I was past my baby teeth by the mid-70s but you are right, Marathons were suck the teeth out of your head caramel goodness.

This is one of my favorite beer commercial's. It's funny because usually it's the fat, bald, white guy with a scruffy beard that is the butt of the joke.
