Hello from the converted

Hello, My name is Sean and I’m from Ottawa Canada. Well I’ve been lurking here for about a month and figure it was about time to come to the surface. As with most stories I have heard here I didn’t like to shave, so every second or third day I would shave (If I didn’t the butching got even worst). Until that is about 8 years ago I bought a pair of clippers to trim my goatee and sideburns. Well with out the guard it trimmed to a descent stubble.

Now after seven years of living with my permanent stubble and me my loving wife asked me to shave (with a razor) more often, other then just when I go see a client. I ventured onto the Internet in search of a better shave because, well the Gillette excel and MACH 3 just aren’t cutting it and my neck looks mess afterwards. My searches brought me here, and following some of the advice I found I bought a brush first (Wal-Mart, Wilkinson Sword $6.00). WOW what a difference just a brush made.

So I'm sold, my wife thinks I completely flipped my lid and I’m looking for DE razor. Going to talk to my father-in-law, and see if he has one, or buy a Murker HD after I get back from my business trip next week. MenEssentials is moving to a new location on the 21st but I’ll be in Portland, oh well I’ve waited this long.

Anyway I’ll let you all know how it works out once I get my razor.

Welcome and happy hunting finding the right razor. I know I personally wouldn't go back to a current generation safety razor. Just not comfortable for me.
