Alum - Such a Deal!

Pretty amazing. While on B&B this evening, the banner ad I saw was for this incredible deal (for the company) on an alum block. Not really a criticism as I am all for capitalism and caveat emptor, just illustrates the value in shopping around and comparing prices before you buy.

Alum is a whole 1.375" x 2.25" x .875" for only $19.95 PLUS shipping.

I saw the same while showing a friend at work what an Alum block looks like... Seriously?!? Better have gold flakes in it that price!

I picked up a nice alum block at the Indian market near my office for .79 cents. Price and quality sure runs the gamut, doesn't it? One has to do his homework sometimes.

Great points that I initially overlooked. I always wonder why people write or say "arguably." Just a meaningless word.

Perhaps I should start choosing grooming products on the Tony scale, whatever that is!
