Tosuke Razors on eBay

As some of you know, I have sold Tosuke and Tosuke-handled razors to forum members and at times, on eBay. Recently, one of my sources found a stash of Japanese razors and offered them to me. I posted photos and information in my Tosuke thread but after further review, I noticed that they were of poor quality and/or condition and removed the post. Well, lo and behold, those same razors that I passed up on are now being sold by someone on eBay here.

Normally, I wouldn't say anything - I'm all for free enterprise. However, since I've already seen these razors close up and know that they have many flaws, I have to recommend NOT buying them. The eBay seller's photos aren't as large and detailed as the photos I posted in my thread. You may not see all the issues. Nonetheless, they are there. If you simply can't help yourself and want to buy, just be careful.

Even more so than the finish, the razors weren't forged properly and there are chips on the backside, right near the edge. Initially, I thought that the chips could be honed out but because of the style of these razors, it's almost impossible to correct.
