My Friday evening SOTD:

I just got the Wolf Whiskers yesterday and could hardly wait to put it to work this morning. It was my second time using the Maggard soap. It's a very soft soap, probably more of a croap, so I smeared a bit into the bottom of my bowl and started whisking. Totally different from the first time I used it. Within a third of the normal swirl time I had more lather than with any other soap since I've started DE shaving in December. I've seen others describe it as the lather exploding; well, that's pretty close. The brush produced cushiony, peaky lather that was slick and protective. The Slim lived up to its rep again in a 6-5-4 three passes and the Polsilver was still fine at 5 shaves. I think I can get at least another shave out of the blade, but I do have 100 Polsilvers waiting in the wings. All of the lime scents were subtle -- the way I like it. Another great shave and a first impression that I have a brush that is going to quickly rise to the top in usage.

First day with the Encre Noire EDT. Holy smokes!!! That is some kind of dark smoky Vetiver!!! My wife likes it, and I think it's a keeper. The WSP soap is a winner.
