On the bottom there is a sticker that says it is a Decatur - I have no idea how old this is though (got it on the bay!).

They are neat. One thing I like is how it handles heat. Like any other clay, the bowl gets pretty hot, but because of the depth and fairly thin walls, it doesn't get hot all at once. You can hold the bottom of the bowl for quite a while before it gets too hot to handle, and by then the top has cooled off enough to shift your grip.
