Reworked Ivory Otto Busch

Had to post a few pics of the wonderful work @Doc226 did for me, I had an Otto Busch "Weltmeister" that was scaled in ivory but the gentlemen than crafted them made them way to thick and the wedge was to fat which allowed the blade to go to far down and the pinning was all wrong so Doc to the rescue.

Can't recommend his work enough, a true craftsman that does excellent professional work !!!

Am I right, he used the same scales and reworked them? Beautiful result one way or the other.

Yes he reworked the existing scales, they were very thick, after getting the razor he advised that the ivory was originally thick enough to make two sets of scales and the blade when closed if you were not careful would protrude out the bottom as the wedge wa to fat and did not allow the blade to stop and ivory scales should be washerless from my understanding. Its always been one of my favorites but now will be one of my top favorites.
