new to the scene

Good evening everybody. I am new to the DE scene. I've tried my hand at straight shaving with minimal experience. Just picked up my first DE at at flea market which from what I can tell is a 1933 gillette for 10 dollars. Any tips and tricks will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! There is great info in the link above! Also check in to some good videos of wetshaving at YouTube, mantic59 is a pretty good example. Lots of others there as well, but the best information is in the link above and the fellows and ladies who post here!

This is what I have taken so far. I'm going toots better ones in the gallery. also trying my hand at making a stand for it and the brush with the mug under it. will start a new thread when I get a prototype done. To see what everyone thinks and any modification ideas.
