Wednesday is Ash Wednesday: what soap to shave with?

May I suggest, if you have it in your den, The Blades Grim Smolder...makes sense for Ash Wednesday...

Ashes were an ingredient in traditional homemade tallow soap. I wonder if any of your artisans still use them?

Some soaps have charcoal.

Maybe we could not shave or use any lotion of any kind so we can be as ashy as can be.

I'll be using Stirling Anise because it's the only soap from my recent Stirling megaorder that I haven't shaved with yet, but come to think of it, it is almost the color of ashes...
