Which option would be more suitable for face lathering?
I am exclusively a boar user for face lathering. Never ever had a badger. And I like backbone.

Here is what I wrote earlier.

The finest is softer and the two band has more backbone. As you know, the two band requires longer badger hair to make, is rarer, and hence more expensive.

The brushes bloom nicely when used. You can't go wrong with either one, IMHO.

If you like more backbone go with the two band. However, BOTH do a great job with face lathering, IMHO.
