We've had nearly 60 Owls, all with a different guess. The winner gets the title of "Mr. Owl."

Masonjarjar is now in the driver's seat, and will be so until shave #56. Pottydoctor takes over at shave #57. Approximately 5/8 of an inch is left on the GP. 3/4 of an inch is left on the Lime.

If someone wanted to run some usage numbers to get a better idea of the winner, one could go back to the last time I posted the amount of product left and try to calculate a usage rate per shave. In this regard, the amount of product applied per shave is not an exact science. In fact, I feel like the GP is now being used up at a faster rate than it was previously. This brings to mind as to whether there are softer and harder areas in a glycerin shave stick just due to the manner in which the product was mixed.

If this contests lasts until August 5, SmoovD will be taking some pictures of the shave sticks on his digitial camera to upload here. Someone requested pics.

Tomorrow is a day of rest. I may be in the mood for Speick cream for a glorious Sunday shave. Check back on Monday when this experiment continues.

We're gonna throw you in the bed of this pick-up truck for the duration if you can't be quiet. And quit pestering your sister. Play your video game and hush.

Got a couple of Tabac sticks yesterday and lathered up with one last night. Very nice, but I did not shave. Just wanted to try it out and not get derailed from finishing these two sticks. Trying the new stick eased the boredom some.

I feel like Francis Begbie in that scene from Trainspotting, when he's holed up in Renton's apartment, watching the horse race that he's bet on, on Renton's bed, on his back, kicking and screaming,

    "Seventy-sixxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx!"
