SWMBO bought me a .50 caliber bottle opener.

Picked up 3 packs of Hopslam.

Question, is this thread for beer and beer related items only or can one post other alcoholic beverages also?

Spurred on by this forum, I found and bought a 1.75l bottle (12 y.o. AS)

Added these three to the inventory.

It is ridiculously good. Tried some Laphroaig 10 year over the weekend and was surprised how it didn't overly impress me. Guess that's what happens after having Lagavulin 16

I tried a small bottle of Balvenie Doublewood to see if I might like buying the Triple Cask on the way back from Britain.
It was OK.

So so I got my first Lagavullin 16 instead.
Looking forward to it!

Went to a new to me liquor store in Nashville today and walked out with the following:

My wonderful SWMBO gave me a bottle of Dalwhinnie 15 for our anniversary.

Pyrate rum by Patron... Very sweet and tasty!

Also Ron Zacapa Centenario, and Zaya Gran Reserva.

I am a sucker for anything Cask Strength / Barrel Proof. I just grabbed a bottle of Jack Daniels Barrel Proof. I am really digging it. It is a solid whiskey with excellent mouth feel and hearty kick of that Jack Daniels Vanilla / Banana for a finish. I liked this vatting, (64.15%), so much, I went and grabbed another bottle. Grab one if you see it.

Just picked up a bottle of Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban. I definitely enjoy the port cask finish. It is a nice finish.

Some of the best tasting scotch and bourbon I have ever had.
Pretty much all I drink here at home.
