My sweet daughter gave me this today. On top of the lid it has the HTGM mustache insignia on it. So, is this a soap or a croap ? It doesn't lather that well. Kind of like I was spreading a vanilla milkshake on my face.

Never used their soap, but would bet that the mustache is just a coincedence and has no relation to HTGAM at all, especially given the performance. I have however used thier Trader Joes Shave Cream and love it! it is a nice honey mango scent and lathers very well and has plenty of cusion and slickness. The best part is, it was only $3.50 for an 8oz tube! By far the cheapest well performing lather I have found yet!

As far as lather goes, this might be a "use more product" situation. I find I have to use at least two grams and my water is fairly soft. With harder water or a larger brush I would expect to need even more.
