That's both incredible and freaky!

This was taken about 1986. I was in Yuma, AZ and we had these little owls that live in holes in the ground created by other animals. I was walking across a vacant lot and spotted a little guy on the roof of the building next door. I had the camera to my eye trying to get close enough for a good picture. As I took the shot, I noticed the owl fly off.

I had no idea the other bird (I think it's a mocking bird) was going after the owl. So - when I developed the film I got the shock of my lifetime - but happy

The owl being bothered by the other bird is one great shot!

Here is the state bird and flower of Idaho.

Great shots gentlemen. Not the best shot but I managed to take this one of a Greater Striped Swallow (Cecropis cucullata) in the Central Drakensberg, KZN, South Africa earlier this month.

All photos taken from my old property. Eagles every morning and every night. I miss the place for these exact reason (and more).
