Now that summer is almost here, I'm wondering how many fellows on here use a moisturizer with SPF. I've never really used it, though I know that dermatologists are adamant about the importance of them.

My name is not really Salvador Montenegro.
I use Regular Coppertone with SPF 15.
I have dry facial skin and it has Jojoba oil.
Funny thing about that one : I started using it in winter for its moisturizing properties, regardless of sun protection.
Added bonus : it has SPF (duh !)
Every last one of you blokes out there should use a moisturizer with SPF or a sunscreen on your face every day for the rest of your life. Skin cancer is not to be trifled with. I don't want to hear the "Well my granddad never..." Yeah, neither did mine and he is honestly 89 years old but then again my 30 y.o. coworker has serious skin cancer! Do it! Sunscreen! I'm not kidding!

No, but I should.

Yes. Everyday I use a moisturizer with SPF on my face and head (as I shave it too).

I've moisturised for years, but have never been bothered about SPF - living in the UK does that for you! Am now using Aesop's Camelia Nut cream, looks like custard and smells great![]()
I don't use moisturizer with SPF, but I do use sunscreen regularly if I'm going to be outside. There are other risk factors for skin cancer, but UV radiation from the sun does cross-link pyrimidine base pairs in your DNA every time you go out. Your body is constantly having to fix that, or you run the risk of something going horribly wrong. HERE is what happens when that repair mechanism is absent. I'll spare you the pics, but these people are probably where some vampire legends got started.
Staying out of the sun is a great excuse to go out and buy yourself a hat, by the way. I picked up a cape york a while ago and love it!
The student swordsmith, when asked to show the sharpness of his blade, dipped it into a nearby stream. Leaves borne on the water were cut neatly in two by the exceedingly keen edge. However, when the master repeated this, the leaves moved aside, avoiding the blade entirely.
Yes.

I'm still trying to find one that doesn't make my face shine like a beacon! :-)
Neutrogena oil-free SPF 15 on the face.
Kiehl's body moisturizer with SPF 25 everywhere else.

Before I switched to DE shaving I used Gillette's Complete Skincare line of products. One of my favorites was the facial moisturizer with SPF 15. I used it like an aftershave balm for each shave.
However, that's a bit low for prolonged periods outside so I generally use sun screen that is 50 SPF or more if I plan on being outside all day.

The sun......? Two weeks in June if we're lucky!![]()
This poll has been pretty back and forth. I'm surprised how many guys DO use SPF.
