I wanted to experiment with my old fusion to see if i could get a comfortable shave. The results were good, but no where near as smooth and comfortable as my DE razors. Definately nice knowing though that prep makes a difference. Also glad I have an atra compatible razor on the way for travel. Much cheaper that way compared to the fusion.

Having put my second blade trial on a temporary hiatus, it's back to pure perfection. The Perma-Sharp Supers are probably my favourite blade, they are just so smooth and comfortable and incredibly sharp. The first pass WTG would most likely have been good enough for most people but a light ATG meant I was finished in two passes.

MdC today. 20 seconds to load the Thater Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Personna Med Prep in the NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Burberry Brit.

A nice face freezing Thanksgiving Day shave. Am adjusting my technique to compensate for the difference in my water now that I'm on well water. And I have to admit that I really like the Plisson/L'Occitane brush, it does everything well for me except give me warm lather when I want that. Otherwise, it's great. Now go enjoy your day folks
