Thanks for all the welcomes. The Greyfox name originates from the massive amount of silver hair that I have. It's been that way since I was 22 years old. Up until last week my setup was a boar bristle brush that I have been using for about 15 years, a mug with Williams shaving soap, and a Gilette Mach III razor. Finally decided to treat myself a bit so I bought a Vulfix 2234 brush, a Merkur HD, and a few soaps from Mama Bear. I am enjoying this a lot. I can tell already that I want to upgrade my brush a little later on but my what a difference between the Vulfix and the old boar bristle. These Mama Bear soaps are phenomenal. Thanks Sue. Oh yeah, my wife is a potter so she is in the process of making me a scuttle. It's drying now and waiting for the first firing. Has to be glazed and then refired. Looking forward to that. Just this morning I purchased a Fatboy from one of the fellow board members. So I am at least ready to start shaving in a manner than gives some pleasure. Adds to my already genteel lifestyle in the hills of Tennessee. Would love to try the straight blade one of these days but I do have an aversion to bleeding!
