Dr. Jons Arrived:

Well my Dr. Jons arrived today. Both smell amazing, cannot wait to try.

They are pretty good soaps. I find them to be almost more of a cream than even a soft soap, but they give a good shave.

Just shaved with the Anne Bonny. In the can I smell the lime first, then the black tea. I don't get a lot of the bay or rum until I whipped up a lather in the scuttle and my face. Once I did that the lime and tea faded some releasing a pleasant and intoxicating smell of rum into the bathroom. Wife said she could smell it all the way in the bedroom. This is definitely a croap as are all of Dr. Jons soaps in my mind. Loaded thick on the brush and drank a lot of water while whipping up a thick lather in the scuttle. This scent was a very slick creamy lather for me. Was a really pleasant shave. Will go into the rotation.

Sounds like another addition to my "must buy" list. Nice review.

Love the cover art on both tins. I might even buy these for that alone.
