help with Waterman ID ( rollerball ) please

Hi guys, my first post in the nib but im a gillette new user and a cella man if that helps?>?!!

I got this rollerball a good few years ago, Id like to step upto a fountain pen and thought it would be nice to get a matching one, only problem is i know bugger all about them YET, i dont actually know if this is genuine - are there fake watermans??

there is no 'W' logo - just WATERMAN AND FRANCE on the ring and Paris on the cap ring.

the body is a flat burgundy colour, all brightwork is gold and the pen nib section is black ( incase its not clear on pics)

anyone help me out here? i suspect its a very modern item
