Product similar to American Crew Fiber but better (holds longer, cheaper, etc.

love how Fiber feels in the air (doesn't dry hard/crunch) and it lasts long enough but is there a product out there similar but better?

thanks.

Been using bed head matte separation workable wax for a long while and like it better than Fiber once I got it dialed in.

My favorite is Paul Mitchell Shaping Cream. A bit less stiff than Fiber, but for my (very curly) hair has provided the best results over time.

What kind of hair do you have? How do you style it?

+1 on Lockhart's. Not a shill, but their products are awesome.

Indeed. I've also used their Medium and Heavy Pomades and Goon Grease and nothing of theirs has disappointed. I am looking forward to more great clay products hitting the market, too. O'Doud's has expressed that they plan to come up with a clay product of some kind as well.

As far as matte products go in general, products with clay are the way to go IMO. They tend to give that matte look while still providing good hold, greater than most other matte products.
