Default 30 bucks for 8 blades!

I was at K-Mart this morning, and saw that Fusion blades were 30 bucks for an 8 pack! ouch! Who, in their right mind would put up with this madness? These prices led me to DE razors and I am not looking back!

Yeah I know. Of course, how many on here have actually save money buy using a DE.

In theory it's cheaper, but RAD, SCAD and plain old envy aren't.

$30 for 8 blades? Come on be fair, technically it is 48 blades... The price of cartridges was one of the factors that got me in to wet shaving. I guarantee I have not saved money, but I can also guarantee my kids will get more out of my collection some day than they would out of used cartridges.

But at least you are spending your money on something you can enjoy.

i pitched wet shaving to my wife as a money saver.....but i can assure you i've spent more money since i've started wet shaving than i ever did on cartridge razors (partly due to the fact that i just didn't shave much b/c it ate me up).

meh oh well...I've got a bunch of cool jazz now so it's all good.

Njaaaae! They're actually about 300 SEK over here, wich equates to roughly $50, but then You'd have to fly over here and buy them

I was in CVS yesterday commenting to the manager how much their blades are there. They were right at 25.99 for 8 blades and they were in a case. If you wanted a package, you had to push a button which made the package pop up and land in a tray, it also triggered a "ding" in the store which prompted the manager to stroll by to make sure I wasn't stealing it. That prompted ME to give him my DE/Str8 shaving vs the insanity pitch and refer him to this and other sites.

So, if you are reading this CVS guy, welcome to our little club.

You have to remember that each cartridge has 6 blades (5 in front, 1 in back) so you are actually getting 48 blades for $30. A steal! <- sarcasm

That's something I don't miss about the M3 days, having the cartidges under glass and waiting for someone to show up to unlock the case.
