Default Just used a bit more New Spice than I intended :want to cry:

I was putting the bottle (full save for like 5 sprays) back into my bathroom cabinet and somehow lost my grip on it and it I swear I watched in slo motion as it fell through the air, clipped the toilet rim (where the corner of the bottle broke off) and twirled around coating me and most all of my bathroom with New Spice.

This seriously sucks becuse I only just got it about a week or so ago, and was thrilled at the scent.

    but not this thrilled

Oh well, at least it wasn't a $100+ bottle, and I can order a new one tomorrow

Had to post about the embarassment factor alone......

At least my bathroom will smell extra good for the next couple of days

Wow, don't feel bad. I've ALMOST dropped one of my straight razors in the toilet... Don't ask... Really, I forget what happened.
Also just yesterday I dropped my DE in the sink and once not long ago as I was lathering my hand spazzed out and the brush shot out of my hand, hit the mirror and subsequently lathered EVERYTHING within a ten foot radius.

I once dropped a vial of Black Aoud on something I was cooking. I was not aware of that so when the stuff started to boil, the vial opened itself. The scent stayed in the house for days... It took me a months before I was able to comfortably wear Black Aoud again.

I went on a quick coffee run - my ENTIRE apt. smells like New Spice.

It really is a good thing I love the smell of this stuff.

( I will probably keep all my windows open and bathroom vent running all night though ceiling fan is on overdrive )

I use half a spray and love it. One full spray is too much for me, I can't imagine what a full bottle of it would be like in your apartment. Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you can replace it with good speed.

Back up a minute.... why was the cologne in the kitchen?

My wife and I keep our cologne on a shelf above the toilet. My big hands bumped one of hers off and right onto the tile floor. Smelled like Red Door for at least 2 weeks.

I'm seriously considering a ridiculous purchase of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille in the big bottle (it's only a pound an ounce that way!) and I can see this kind of story happening to me.

The horror would not only be a large sum of money wasted, but I also doubt that 250 ml of that stuff would ever dissipate.
    Cheers,

Sorry about that mate; I feel for you.

I make soap as a hobby and I had a 4 oz Green Irish Tweed Fragrance Oil jar break on my shag carpet. WOW talk about strong, it is now 4 months since the event and I still swear I can smell it. It gave me migraines a sore throat and to this day any cool water, green Irish tweed smell makes me want to puke.

While I store all my bottles in a cold, dark place, it is not uncommon for me to have vials of colognes all over the house. I might have 3 or 4 samples in my car, about 15 on my desk drawer and perhaps 4 at work.

Well, it has been a few days and it is not so bad anymore. We've had 90+ degree days the past few day so leaving all my windows open helped quite a bit.
