The bones you don't give your dog can be used to flavor soups, stews, beans and broths. No bones about it.

funny as I don't think of that picture when I listen to the song.
The bones you give your dog has marrow...................it's not just for the dogs or the bird.
If I give my dog a canon bone cut in two they would lick at the marrow and when they leave the bone the birds would eat the marrow.

Aaron, I'm sure the majority of people know not to give dogs cooked bones, but some may not have even thought about what can happen.

Most good music can be interpreted several ways. I listen to a lot of blues- almost all of it is about one thingfunny as I don't think of that picture when I listen to the song.

We never gave our dogs chicken bones. But we would on occasion throw them a ham or roast bone. Most of the time it was large rawhide tied in knots to look like a bone. Those lasted all of 10 minutes.
Actually, it can be done safely. My bro-in-law saves them up for a friend of his. The friend boils them for a couple of hours until they are real soft and never had a problem
