Hear Ye, Hear Ye,
The Moderators here at B&B have decided to publicly recognize members who have distinguished themselves by their participation here at B&B.
This will be awarded periodically to a specific member, chosen by the Moderators, as a group, to receive a small token in recognition of that member’s outstanding contribution to B&B. The recipient will also receive a badge next to their user name to indicate that they have received this award. The recipient's avatar will also be placed in the awards gallery and remain there, along with all future recipients for posterity.
The types of contributions that are considered by the Moderators range from members who have consistently provided useful information to the membership regarding any and all aspects of wet-shaving. The recipient can be a member who has posted an array of interesting threads, a member who has consistently posted great photos for the enjoyment of the membership, a member who has engineered a successful group buy as well as a host of other contributions - both visible to the members and those behind the scenes - are considered by the Moderators.
Contributions may also be non-shaving related. Members who are consistently active and participate in a positive and creative manner may also be recognized. Providing useful information, adding insightful commentary, adding humor and an overall positive attitude from which all the members benefit are the type of attributes that may be considered for the award.
This is not a popularity contest. There is no minimum post requirement to be met nor minimum length of membership to be considered. This award is being presented solely for the purpose of recognizing members who have enhanced everyone’s use and enjoyment of our community here at B&B.
The award is to be known as the B&B Meritorious Shaver Award. Also known as “The Timmy” as this idea was the brainchild of our own TimmyBoston some time ago which is now seeing its way to fruition.
Please join us on May 15th at 9:00 P.M. EDT when we award the first-ever recipient of 'The Timmy". (White Tie- officers please wear your medals)
