There may be some differences of opinion in this thread because i have not seen anyone specifying the infusion vessel.
I think you will find a difference depending on the type of vessel used, e.g., "brown betty" type traditional teapot vs. gaiwan vs. Yixing teapot.
Bottom line: enjoy your tea infused the way you like. Don't worry too much about how other people are doing it. It's all good in the end.

Wow, I would re-steep that tea until it poured clear as a mountain spring.
I weigh the tea using an inexpensive scale that is about the size of deck of cards. Resteepings are covered in previous posts, with which I agree.
