Initially I thought one brush, one razor, one set of blades and one or two creams or soaps and I would be happy of all the money I would save
And here I am 143 brushes, 81 DE's, 55 straight's and whatever stuff later - and I don't think I'm quite finished just yet
- but at least I'm not hurting any one other than my wallet

+1000 42 days ago, 0 straights now 4 with 2 on the way. Straights is the most slippery slope of all slippery slopes, but enablers help, so go ahead Michael. We'll help.

NORMAL SERVICE HAS BEEN RESUMED

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
Razor - Gillette Fat Handled Tech
Blade - Sputnik Platinum Chrome (#1)
Brush - Omega 20106
Soap - Arko / Proraso Green / Glycerine
After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
Result - BBS+

The last shave I had was probably the worst in my DE record and accordingly I've banished the Personna Platinum Chrome from the inventory.
Back with the Sputniks and wow......just wow! I could be accused of indifference to them the first time around, just trying to get through blades, but the first pass tonight was as good as some third passes. I'm so relieved to be back to my normal, extremely comfortable results.
Gotta love the Techs, this one is my favourite DE, a trusted ally when trying any new blade.
