    Default Just Checking In

    I've been 'lurking' for a while and have really enjoyed all of the great information in the forum as well as the friendly atmosphere and so have decided to jump in.

    I've been using a brush and some quality soaps for a few years now, but I think I'm ready to give up the cartridge for the DE.

    I've very much appreciated all of the support everyone here has given to the 'new' DE shaver. There is no such thing as a dumb question around here, and because of that, I have been able to learn a lot!

    So thanks to everyone for making this the kind of supportive, informative, and fun forum that it certainly is. I'm looking forward to being part of the discussions.

    Hi and welcome to B&B.

    I think you are going about it the right way. Many times someone jumps in with all new ingredients and a totally new process, which can lead to frustration. Since you have been using a brush and soaps you already have that part figured out. Switching to DE should be easier for you.
