I tried the DEvette from the passaround for the first time today. I think I'm the first to try one on the dome. It wasn't very comfortable. No blood or irritation, but it tugged and had a lot of blade chatter. Probably time to try out the SR1 next weekend...

I'm smoking ribs tonight anyway, so I may as well continue the theme with my shave. Stirling is such a unique soap. I don't know if it's the clay that sets it apart or not. I can't think of any other soap in my arsenal with clay. The thick velvety lather of Stirling can not be matched.

Saturday's favorite brush is a real workhorse for me.
A TGN handle/TGN Finest combo that I bought used on the old B/S/T here for like $30.00.
This brush delivers very consistent, excellent performance, and has not shed one hair in 3+ years.
