How about the CoolPix P900?

Zoom and time-lapse are fun digi-cam features, but I was surprised at this level of zoom and image stabilization for the price. I am happy with my current camera but is this becoming the norm or has Nikon gotten far ahead?

I know less than nothing about cameras, but I have to say that I'm impressed, especially with the first image. We had a blood moon this evening I would have killed to have captured with that level of detail.

The zoom on those things is crazy. I've been wanting to borrow one for a while, but haven't really had any situations that call for it.

I know that police and security agencies are buying them for surveillance work. 2000mm, and weighs about a kg? Crazy.
