Over the weekend, I placed a few orders for a Merkur HD, C&E Best Badger Brush, some Proraso cream, a razor sampler pack and an alum styptic block. I just came back from Target with a nice wide mug and some Aqua Velva (because of the reviews it got from here). So now I'm just waiting for my stuff to come in the mail...

What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
Trying to pick up golf right now. Besides that, nothing much really. I guess I'm too busy with work and trying to pay off debt that I'd rather spend my free time doing nothing.

I've been wanting to buy a safety razor for awhile now (since college) but always thought it was too expensive. Well, I figured I would get myself an early birthday gift and actually spend some of my paycheck on myself.

Also, for some reason, I always looked at classicshaving.com and thought it was too expensive to get into wetshaving because I kept looking at the expensive items there. Then I discovered the HD and C&E brush which isn't expensive at all. I can see myself investing a lot more money down the line with different creams and soaps.
