What's new

Ok, just about to use a Derby after all these years

Welcome to the world of the vanilla average middle-of-the-road blade.
Personally, I've used so many of the others in rotation but keep returning to the sleeve of Derbys, the first 100-blade purchase that I made.

Have a pack but never touched it, stay tuned!
They are good blades for certain razors despite how much some people want to hate them. I just posted about this yesterday. While I didn't care for Derbys initially, I have found over time that they work particularly well for me with a Merkur 34HD and not so well with a Muhle R41. Keep us posted to your experiences.

I've gotten good results with derbys in more aggressive razors like the fatip. I would agree that they do seem pretty average.

I've never had issues with a Derby in any of my razors. I'm happy that they work well for me as they are one of the least expensive blades out there.

He diddn't report back, I hope he's ok.
LOL!, if I tried a straight you would have reason to be worried, I would probably be writing from my Doctors office, ain't going there, Derby worked fine, maybe not the best, but I got BBS
