Strop Info Needed

I have found an excellent strop and I don't know if it's even leather.
I have seen strop backs like this before but I don't know the material it's made from.
It sure looks and feels like leather but there is practically no draw to it and it put one H*** of an edge on my razor.

Just would like to know if it's natural or synthetic?

I might mention this is a one piece strop. The diamond pattern is on the back side, and no, it is not pasted.

That's leather for sure. I had a vintage one with the same back (different front). Alas, it ended up being too dried out to save and cracked in half one day.

I agree it's probably leather.

There are some vintage strops still out there like this. They are smooth as glass, still supple and put an excellent edge on a blade.
