Best Russian Blade

In your opinion what is the best Russian blade?

I think Perma Sharp is up at the top for me
Polsilver is pretty good as well

I haven't tried all the Russian blades but have tried most.

I have not tried them all..... But Gillette Silver Blues are my favorite so far.

From the one company, Nacet. From the other company, Platinum Lux.

The only Russian blade I've used is the Gillette Silver Blue. Once I used one, I stopped shopping for blades. It's a smooth, sharp blade. I use it in my Schick Krona. If there's a better blade out there, I'd be amazed, as the GSB had me hooked from hello.

Interesting. THE GSB are really good and also like them a lot. The one Russian blade I have been hearing about but haven't tried is the Nacet blade. I will soon though.

I haven't tried them all, but Rapira Platinum Lux are tops for me.

Both work well for me. Smooth and sharp. I got a pack of Polsilver. I haven't tried em yet, but I haven't seen any bad reviews.

Gillete Yellows for this guy.

Ladas Super Stainless work for me in my Merkur slant, also Rapira Swedish Supersteel are also top shelf.

PM me your mailing address and I will send you a few Nacet. Very nice blade. Gotta love the Logo. Any blade that is sharp enough to slice an alligator in two is plenty sharp enough for me.

The Astra SS is overshadowed in popularity by the SP, but it's a far nice blade, IMO.

Yes the Astra SS is a very good blade also. I think it's a little sharper than the SP

I do like that Nacet logo.

Voshkod is a great blade.
