I'm having fun with this week's theme, but for me it's hard to be Don Draper EVERY day!

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
Razor - Ever Ready 1912
Blade - GEM Personna SS (#3)
Brush - Omega 20106
Soap - Nanny's Ice and A Slice
After - Freezer Towel / Alum
Result - BBS

I'm very open-minded, but I refuse to believe I could get a better shave than that which I've just recieved. My fave is ridiculously smooth and with not even a hint of skin conditions such as razor burn. When I use any DE, I often catch a skin tag on my moustache area, causing much bleeding. It just won't happen with SE, perhaps that's down to the stiffer nature of the blade.

Use what works, I use a variety of GEMs in my rotation, most are excellent razors (can't get a good shave with the Featherweight for some reason).

Thursday's Shave:

Washed my face, took a shower, washed my face again, and used coconut oil as pre-shave oil. It's great, but, I should have included my lotion as well. I typically use CVS face/hand lotion as a pre- and post- shave balm, but, I wanted to try the coconut oil on its own.

Razor: Master Barber Magic Shavette
Blade: Derby Platinum
Brush: White Handled Omega S
Soap: Edwin Jagger Cool Menthol

Post-shave: I washed my face with my left over lather. I think I'll do so from now on. Then, it was several rinses of the face with water and an alum block.

Aftershave: Myrsol Blue
Cologne: TOBS No 74 Original
