Been SR shaving for about 2 months now and I wanted to learn to hone. I picked up this WB vintage razor and managed to bring it to shave ready with only a chinese 12K stone and a Naniwa 12000. The blade was already pretty sharp with no damage and I was able to get a pretty decent shave. The first shave with an edge I put on myself. Not as comfortable as the professional honed blades but it will come.. I also have a Norton 4k/8k and norton 1k coming along with the Naniwa 12000 I already have. I was surprised the Naniwa 12000 was able to bring back a blade that hasn't touch a face in probably decades.
This is the blade I bought for $15 bucks. Its A wade and butcher. The blade is quite a bit smaller than my other razors perhaps its a womens model?
