That's kind of you to say, but this really just amounted to drilling a hole, using some sandpaper, and rubbing some stain on the wood. Very simple stuff (and about the entirety of my woodworking skill set)!Wow impressive, i call this artisanal work.
Even though I do not possess your talent for restoration, I am always on the look out for anything, be it bowls, stands or boxes or what have you, that might be adaptable for the ol' shave den. I am very impressed with your project. Well done!!
Thanks, but I'm sure that if I can do it so can you! It's not much more than drilling a hole and staining the wood. The hardest part is waiting for the urethane to cure... I tried to use it too soon and it made my razor stink (flushing it with water took care of it, though).
