Honing On Nakayama Stones (Chill Mode)

Today is a good day for honing a razor.
I set the bevel on a Chosera 1000grit first and then took it to my two Nakayama stones. Honing calms me down very much, after a long stressful day there is nothing i rather do then listen to music and use my stones.

Very nice, I sometimes do what you did here by setting a bevel and then jumping to tomo slurry, works well, might just need some refreshing.

i see the bevel pics in the vid, but the real question is: how was the shave?

after watching this video along w/ a few of alex's ax method vids i might have to give 1k-tomo a go a few times and see how it turns out.

That would be Chiharu Sugai of Korin, the guy who taught me how to sharpen many moons ago. He used to give lessons for free, but I assume that nothing is free any more.
