Galatea Razor

I have had the pleasure of working on 5 of these and a 6th is on my workbench

This one gets purple heart/unknown white hard wood combination with a white G10 backing and a CA finish.

Domed SS washers.

This was by far the hardest scales I have made, real pain to get the fit just right

This is exceptional and will open new routes I will certainly exploit !

Truly outstanding. Is the scale work Customized, or is that the way the original would have looked.

Nicely done. Looks like one of Carver's jobs, which is intended as high praise to both. I'd guess beech on the light colored wood.

The original scales would not have looked this way.

The original scales vary with these razors. Mine were faux ivory, very nice though I'm not a fan:
