Today's contest wasn't really a contest, it was a lost cause for the Slant from the beginning.
The Fat Handled Tech is my favourite DE and as expected the Slant couldn't measure up to the Tech.
It came close, maybe even closer than I had thought, but it didn't beat the Tech

Mastro Livi RWL34, 9/8 Full Hollow, French Point
Mastro Livi shave is always a luxury shave. I am very fond of this RWL34 straight razor, to me one of the very best stainless steels for making razors. It has the right aggressiveness while providing a wonderful close and deep shave, requiring the lightest hand. I also like this French point, a very effective style in some spots of the face. The whole shave has been done with Simpsons shaving products: not so bad, in particular the shaving cream.

MdC Fougere today. 20 seconds to load the WD High Mountain. Great, easy, thick, lather as always. Gillette Platinum in the Fatboy. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Modern Fougere.

- Navaja: Filarmónica Inoxidable 13
Hoy estreno una navaja que por fin he encontrado después de buscarla durante varios años. Sin duda la Filarmónica menos común.
Había leído muy poco de ella, y me llamaba la atención.
En esta primera toma me ha parecido una navaja suave, en ningún momento una navaja más áspera que una friodur, es más me ha parecido igual de dulce que una DT, ahora espero que tenga buena retención de filo .
En el tema del coleccionismo estrenar algo que lleva por lo menos treinta años guardado en un cajón tiene algo especial, es un placer estrenar este tipo de navajas tan buscadas.
