Default Could you recommend me a cream?

I'm looking for something with lime scent.. preferably a refreshing lime scent and it has excellent moisturizing and lathering capabilities.
    Anything out there for me?

On top of that, what creams are best noted for their moisturizing and latherability?

    Thanks.

I've heard the Kiss My Face lime cream had a nice scent. I have their vanilla cream and I'd say it's very good for the price, though a bit thin.

I think all of the 3T's have a lime cream, too, though I might stay away from T&H; their lime EDT kinda smells like jello. Unless that's what you're looking for.

Are you looking for pure EO or for a lime interpretation. For pure lime EO, single note I would recomend TSD Lime and CF Lime (its amazing!). If you want a nice soap I'd recomend the QED lime soap in the stick. Its great. Kick you in the face lime. I just wrote a big story on another site going through a ton of different lime creams

I'd avoid the Vulfix lime, its not very moisturising although the latherabillity is good. I'm not keen on the scent, smells a bit washroom soapy under the lime, but some people here like it.

One of my favorites is Truefitt & Hill's lime cream. Wonderful scent and top shelf performance. Available at Nordstroms, to boot.

There may be differing opinions on the interpretation of a Lime scent but there is no refuting that J. M. Fraser's Cream creates one of the richest, creamiest, slickest, most protective and healing lathers of any cream out there. All at a super affordable price. It's one of the best values in wet shaving, IMHO.

-1 on the West Indies Lime. I really didn't like it. I prefer pure lime to some interpretation.

If you want a real lime scent, there are a couple of them. By far the best in terms of scent AND lather is Castle Forbes. But the stuff is quite pricey. Next on my list and my go-to cream is Kiss My Face. It's cheap ($7 for 11oz!), smells pretty good and works wonderfully. The scent is not as strong as CF, but it's less likely to irritate. CF uses a lot of oils.

JM Frasier (wonderful stuff, also cheap), Vulfix, Saint Charles Shave The Shave Den, and Tryphon are next on my list. All are pretty limey, but not up there with CF or KMF.

Trumpers Limes is only sort of limey but works really well. T&H works well but doesn't have that lime scent.

Mama Bear was hinting to me that she was considering making a cream. She makes a really great lime soap, so if she decides to make a cream I am first in line for it!

Oh yeah - out of all the creams I mentioned, in terms of sheer moisturizing and lather I'd go with the Frasier or Kiss My Face. Really, you simply can't go wrong with either.

I like the Castle Forbes best simply because the lime scent is so incredible. it is a very competent cream, don't get me wrong. But for the price you pay it better be, and in terms of these two properties it's no better. You're paying for the scent. Which I;m glad to do sometimes.

Vulfix is not a pure lime scent. The first sniff you take smells sorta like lime and...? so you go back and take another whiff and than you figure it out. Lime and puke. I hate that stuff.

I got a couple of samples of trumpers lime and was pretty impressed. The lather and slickness and all of that were great. The scent leaves little to be desired. If you want a great shaving cream go for this one, but I have smelled lime scents much better than this.

+1 for KMF lime. It's a very nice lime scent, and a very good performing cream.

I didn't think it was that bad. But then I disliked the T&H, so what do I know? :)

Coates lime is very nice , but obviously hard to find, KMF is nice in the genre of 'creams easy to find'

I'll throw my vote in for T&H west Indian lime. Great lather, slick and smells great.

+1. One of my favorite creams, especially during the spring and summer months. Smells refreshing, creates plenty of lather, and has decent moisturizing properties. Get one, quick!

I haven't tried their lime variety, but KMF has always struck me as an outstanding cream. Shockingly good for the price. Their lavender and mint are two of my most used creams.

+1 to all of this. Latherability and slickness are superior! The scent is not very citrusy lime though, more like Trumper's take on lime. No complaints about that from me though—Since this was my first high end cream it still occupies the go-to slot in my rotation. If anything with which I experiment goes wrong I reach for this in half a second

I really wish Pasteur's had a webpage, but that's probably where I'll be doing most of my buying.. if not the Cambridge Chemists...
I know KMF is available at Vitamin Shoppes and other places such as that, but where would JM Fraser or The Shave Den creams might be sold?
